I am an HCI researcher in both The Institute of Visualization and Interactive Systems (VIS), University of Stuttgart and Media Informatics Group, University of Munich (LMU). I am currently pursuing my PhD and my research interests are Brain Computer Interfaces, and Physiological Computing. I am working on building systems which provide feedback and adapt to the cognitive and affective states of users. I leverage the current ubiquity of brain computer interface devices and wearable physiological sensors to create new tools that support cognitive-awareness outside the lab environment.

I graduated with high honors with a Bachelor of Science degree from the faculty of Digital Media Engineering, German Univeristy in Cairo (GUC). I hold a Master of Science degree in Computer Enginering from the University of Stuttgart. I previously worked as a UX researcher in Trustious, a reviews and recommendations app, and interned in Sony Research Center and Daimler AG.
